Hi Dan, no its not dbb, to be honest though i dont think you would need it spooling any earlier
No updates with the car, just enjoying it on the odd occasion we have some dry roads and spare time. Trying to decide what route to take with bodyparts for when it finally gets its makeover. Cant wait for it to happen, hopefully start end of November. Gave the car a wash last w'end to go to the WIM event and the more i clean it the worse mood it gets me in

haha but you cleaning the car is completely different to the rest of us
Fair play mate good to hear all is well, has the turbo got much headroom? I've heard the billet versions can be pushed a fair bit higher than the standard variant of the same turbo.
When you say bodywork wise are you thinking of a kit/lip spoiler, i'm seriously torn between the two if I was to get a full bumper/skirts etc then for me it would have to be whifbitz bumper and ridox skirts with the carbon. But the more supe's i see with just a lip the more i like them ala JP's one

Loads of headroom on the turbo Dan, the billet types love boost Its at 1.5 now, if the car was a manual it could be pushed quite a bit more. But then again id have probably chosen a 6765 if it was manual, but the price this one came up for it was too good to miss.
Bodywise will be a lip on the stock front bumper, rmm style, probably without the 'ears', not sure if i would prefer this in carbon or painted body colour though. I'm tempted to lose the oem skirts completely as it cretes a very clean look, but if thats the case the trial rear will definetly go and be changed for a stock one (with Auto Shine diffuser)or it will look odd, but then again it could work very well with Ridox skirts and carbon trim, if the front lip is carbon Got a stock bonnet ready to replace the AB Flug, which will have subtle vents cut in, aston style. It will need a spoiler as you can certainly notice this at 'higher' speeds lol Stock, TRD with painted sides and carbon blade (only if other carbon bits are fitted) or i'm also quite tempted by the Do Luck lately as its a bit different, this can also have a carbon blade (same rules as above though) Wheels will be replaced with something like an Advan RS style, Rota Force Drift (although not currently available in correct widths, but will be soon) and will definetly be black. Calipers will be either yellow or white, probably white, with a black decal on, just not the supra logo as not keen on them New facelift lights as you just cant beat them, with hids.
The paintwork, well, i was nearly very sold on the same colour as Tango's ISF, its stunning, but i have since seen Grigio Silverstone from the 599 Ferrari, it contains more metallic and is a slightly different shade. This colour would compliment carbon peices if i chose to go that way.
You can see where the difficulties are lol Once its ready to go in though i'll make a decission quite sharpish.
Cheers Mplavery, didnt know you were over here to Do it mate, you wont regret being single, totally different car and it wasnt a slouch anyway. Just read as much as you can and drain people of info before buying anything. The red led dash conversion came from Heckler on the Supra site, send him the bits he converts them and you plug them back into the dash, very easy. He also changed my dial bulbs to white leds so i could choose what colours i wanted Skewer to do my dials. They are one of my favourite bits on the dash. Driving the car at night is totally different and more modern looking compared to the old green bulbs everywhere.
Christian
Things been quiet lately with this as been a busy chap,
But, standard rear bumper has just been purchased, so the trial rear is definetly coming off
Also decided the oem sideskirts will be completely removed to create a cleaner look, along with the standard rear spoiler going back on.
Seems strange putting a car back to stock

imo it's the way forward Christian i've become very much fond of the stock look with just a little lip spoiler.

Very much so mate. That will be the same lip i will get, but will remove the side ears. Will definetly get the urethane version and have it painted body colour. The flexibility of it against it catching on things will be far better than keep repairing a fibreglass one
