Can any one tell me if the amp by-pass lead is compatible in the SportsCross.
Reason being is in the load area there is a built in sub, so is this powered thro the same amp.
I dont wont to fit aftermarket hu then loose the sub function as it does add huge depth to the sound.

you could always add a different sub Amp if needs be ? but then if your going down this road you may as well put 2 amps in and run the rest of the speakers through a different amp to

then again you could if your up for it re make the adaptor lead and take the feeds from the Rear speakers and split it through a X-over and the feed the sub that way

Hope i havent lost you there lol

yes that was what i was thinking, do not really want to fit separate amp and sub in the load area.
So I think I will stay with oem hu and get a grom adaptor

Marsdendean Different setup, as the saloon does not have a separate subwoofer, the speakers are quite small on the X compared to the setup on the saloon (the rear ones one the X are small compared to the quite big ones on the rear shelf)

But then the difference might just be the way the speakers are fed so bypassing the amp might still work?

there are 8 speakers and a sub. 1 mid and 1 tweeter on each front door, then 2 mids on c pillar, and another 2 mids on rear pillar. then a sub to the right of the loading area.
