He can't have had NO isurance... He bumped a mondeo a couple months back, if he'd no insurance he'd be typing from prison

I reckon the MID was just updated wrongly for him...

As for the import tax cost.... I'm guessing £200! Smile

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

Yeah that's pretty reasonable on the amount of kit you've got. I was somewhat vexed when I received the bill for a FAN CONTROLLER!!

I did a calculation online and it should have been £570 if the cost was declared!!

No way on earth was I paying that, so I bit the bullet and got it sent uninsured, $0 value.

My (probably mad) thinking is that I'd rather risk loosing £2k, than be required to hand over £500 to our government for something that I cant even purchase in the uk and that was 2nd hand anyway! The bunch of robbing barstewards.
