How do i change the power steering belt?

Did the alternator and air con no problems, but the power steering one is still on the original, As i couldn't get it off to change it!
Couldn't see a tensioner only a bolt on top of the pulley which when loosened it didn't put any slack on the belt!
Anyone got any pointers or a step by step guide?
The other day i noticed all the aux belts looked pretty worn and cracked (Also they were starting to squeel!
