Rear Speakers
Rear Speakers
I wrapped my boot springs in foam and black tape, when the boot was shut there wasn't a lot of pressure on the springs so rattled like hell? plus they seemed to touch in the middle and wrapping them in tape did stop them from rattling so might be worth a try? :thumbup1:
No, because of the way the OEM ones are wired - 2 speakers in one.
there are a few 2 way 6x9 sets that im sure could be wired up..

i will look at my old ones tomorrow and see if this can work if anybody interested?
If Redz is correct and it looks that way:thumbup1: then you will be able to replace the rears and keep the bi-wiring setup, then just get a good pair of fronts and job done, then a sub - a good one to be able to push enough bas through to the front of the car.
You can leave the rears out, like Redz and my system - the sub workes better this way. Although DJWozza's system keeps the rears in place but aftermarket ones and his also has amazing sound. Its up to you, but try without rears first especially if you are going to put an amp in to power the fronts (Hi - inputs are availabele on most amps).
I am toying with the idea of a replacement to the Rainbow amp - a 4 channel one with hi-inputs that would do your system nicely.
yep.. by far the best way of running a system..

i really rate these and a few members have these on here and seem happy with them!
yeah, as long as you install them properly they will be a big improvement..
there are others that you can buy but these are what i consider to be good for £ vs performance..
i would recommend a good cheap sub mate but im not allowed to link to anything..
why no links?
