ok......... but what about the flywheel. does any light weight one go with the freeport clutch or is there a certian one i must get

The problem is keeping your tubby spinning with a light fly wheel, I think on hills there is an issue?
The lase one I know of was bought from Japan. The JUN one.

if you dont like the dual mass or its on its way out you can weld it up so it becomes solid..
yip it saves you over £500!!lol then its just a normal flywheel...
If any of you decide to go for a lightweight flywheel, Jun I believe is the best option. I hane read recently that there a brand from Taiwan that also makes light flywheels for 1GFE motors. This brand is named Border. Do not much abouth this manufacturer. Also bear in mind that if you use a lightweight flywheel you need an upgraded clutch kit. OEM clutches will not work. There many many options for upgraded clutches since altezza (3SGE, SXE10) clutches are exactly the same with 1GFE and will fit 100% in the IS200. So some upgraded clutch kits are Exedy, Helix, OS Giken, Cusco, C-One, ORC. It depends how big is your pocket.
