i'll wire everything else up but the lock/unlock bit. and bring a spare key fob just incase.

there is a easy way to make it work on a standard car but you have to surrender one of your keyfobs, this is for 2 reasons
1. due to the nature of the UK spec IS200/Is300 you cant lock the doors via a cable route that i could find when i had mine and nor could stav so we would be modifying a keyfob to allow the lock and unlock to be achieved by the aftermarket unit
2. doing it this way will also allow the factory imobiliser to be bypassed when the time is needed to start the car(i wont post details on it live on the site for obvious reasons as its to do with the security of the car)
there is a 3rd way using a DEI imobiliser bypass box very good bits of kit but you still have to surrender a key so the choice is yours.
the proximity kit i have been looking at and will be fitting to The Stagea and 350z in time, also come with remote start now so that may be of benefit to others now see this thread
