Those Silver ones are interesting. Found some here, I think are the right ones: LINKY

Copied a table I found on conductivity of metals that I found interesting:

Material ... Thermal Conductivity W/(m*K) ... Electrical conductivity MS/m
Silver .................. 407 .................................... 66
Copper .................. 384 .................................... 57
Gold .................. 310 .................................... 45
Iridium .................. 147 .................................... 18
Platinum .................. 70 .................................... 10
Nickel .................. 59 .................................... 10

EDIT: Table formatting got screwed up, but you get the idea.

I am interested too, as I am running forced induction (maybe not quite as forced as you two guys!) and soon need new plugs too.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Tbh I'd just go with copper. I've not checked out the link for the silver ones, but copper plugs are as cheap as chips and if you compare the Iridium to the Copper conductivity its massive in contrast to copper vs silver, so I very much doubt the different between copper & silver would be worthwhile.

But also just remember that its only worth going for Copper if you can change the plugs yourself, you're F/I, and you have a tune that is likely to fowl up plugs much quicker than a set of Iridiums would last.

mattross1313 Oh, one more thing, what should I gap these plugs to? never changed a Lexus before. it was 0.8mm on the MR2?

Don't gap iridiums!
