I was wondering, why you guy want to change for IS300 lights? With modifications to bodywork and brackets and things, as well as looms and HID connectors etc. Why not just de-tango the standard IS200 units and fit HIDs? Seems a simpler solution that would give the same result, unless I have missed something?

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

Baking the lights in the oven to open them to de-tango might be fun?

Where is the fun is going to a lot of effort to retro fit lights that don't fit properly, and yet look no different?

You should do your home work matey...no need for loom changes you just buy an adapter...the inside of the light is diff..I already have detangoed and painted the lights...after a few mods they do fit correctly...
Also because they are standard hid the beam pattern is better than the 200 lights..

TTE supercharger,pr0lex manifold,hks fcd,larger intercooler,apexi induction kit,silicone hose kit,IK22's,polished engine parts,TTE front bumper mod'd for intercooler,TRD side skirts,TRD rear lip,JDM headlights and fogs,10k hid headlights 8k full beam,L8XSS p/plate,fog/brake/light conversion,18"fox rs's,lowered 90mm(f)100mm®,moleys under bars,yellow trd anti rollbars,full stainless exhaust,carbon fiber intake plus so much more

Only quoting what I read above. If the beam pattern is different, then that is a viable reason I suppose, but I had not heard that mentioned before.

The correct beam pattern with a perfect cut off and no light scatter is worth the work on its own ormi, simple job and all you need is the loom to fit the D2R bulbs,

That should get rid of any moisture in there. But if they are leaking, then it will get back in. Baking in the oven too warm up the adhesive and then firmly resetting the edges should solve it for good.

But I think Ormi is now at the stage Stav was at a while ago, his car is so modded, he is now just looking for anything else he can mod!
