Dan_Turism0 straight pipes ftw!

You know something, when I parted out my IS300 and returned it to stock I couldn't believed how more relaxed and confident I felt driving the car.

Its weird because normally I'd be the first one to advocate a large exhaust, some coilovers, intake...blah blah blah. But I must just be turning into an old git, because I'm just not feeling the need to do those mods to the LS despite wanting to hear what a 4.3l V8 *really* sounds like.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

OK, so still no pics yet (sorry). But I'm going to save that until the weekend when I get a chance (hopefully) to detail the car.

In the meantime I've been doing a few other minor maintenance bits:

- Coolant & Oil Change

- Seafoam engine (get all those valves & pistons squeaky clean)

- Throttle body clean (super easy to remove - and worth it as it was thick black sludge)

- MAF Clean (One side of the MAF element was caked in black junk - I'm surprised it worked)

- Ride Height Fixed (Car was wonky due to an issue with the air suspension.)

- Squeaky serp belt fixed (Probably needs replacing, but just sprayed it with sticky stuff)

I just need to call Lexus now and find out if my plugs have been changed recently as the car has hit 120k and that's the service interval in the book for new plugs.

I also need to reinstall my speed camera detector as I'm at even more risk of getting flashed now when cruising at 110 feels more like 60!
