navi bypass advice please......
Yeah literally butchered it, he put in the amp bypass lead and instead of buying the adapter he cut the plug off it and soldered every wire from the hu onto it, every other lead has a place except for one which has a green/brown trunking around several wires and a bare wire, the trunking has a copper lining as though its a co-ax with other wires running through it, I am assuming that would have had the plug for the nav on it but I don't know, as the plug that goes into the back of the nav screen has different colour wires all together, I will pm him now, cheers
All to save £7.99 on the adapter to connect a £500+ headunit lol, the problem is that the original loom is gone by the looks of it. I have really sunk my teeth into this now and I just wanna day f**k it and let go but I just can't let it go lol cheers for all the help mate, ur probs gettin fed up now, but giving u rep for all the help
Big thanks to Speedfreek and sparkystav for all their help, the kits that Speedfreek is selling for the nav bypass works brilliantly and only takes 10 mins to fit, cheers guys
Also I have found a way to link the kit up and make the stock nav work without needing to take most of the dash out, I will have a go at making a walkthrough at some point

nah.. demand isn't that high to be honest so there is no point. Maybe will pop a few on ebay, but won't be expecting Fargo style money lol.
