Just a final update on this, Sold the car. I had it advertised for a week and not one single solitary call did I get asking about it. I guess Lexus are not everyone's cup of tea, the masses are more interested in common inferior cars like Vauxhalls and Audi's for some strange reason.
Anyways, had no calls about it and was set to send it to auction but I contacted a local dealer to see if he was interested in it, he came over and had a look and a quick test drive... 700 notes in my hand and the car was his!
I know you are probably gonna say that I gave that car away for that money and I know I could have held out for more but in truth the car was a bit of a heap that didnt have a single panel that wasn't marked, dented or scraped. It would have been a hard car to shift, especially after the neighbours added their creativity to it!
It's a £800 loss on the car, or if you look it from the other side, I got a supercharger kit for £800...!

look at it from the positive £800 for the charger thats a cracking deal not to mention didnt you get the exhaust as well lol

I already have a Kazama 2 catback system on my car, the Janspeed car came with a full Janspeed exhaust and a high flow cat. It was the cat I was after but when I went to take it off my blowtorch quit working. I wasn't gonna risk taking it off without heat so I had to leave it on the car.
I just remembered that the car was coming up on 95,000 miles and from when I was working on it I never seen any evidence or documents to show that the cambelt was ever replaced. In fact everything points to it not being done as the waterpump and auxiliary belts looked to be original. That would have been another dent in the asking price if it had been discussed.
It's kinda sad in a way to see a car that did have a bit of history behind it to be in such a state of neglect, it's only for the fact that it is a Toyota engineered car that it is actually still on the road. I hope it's new owners look after it.
As for the supercharger, well that is all mine and it will be a well minded charger!
Having it is so much fun, you can reel cars in who have no idea what you have under the bonnet. When you take off and then they know something just isn't all it should be as that Lexus is awfully fast for what is a 156bhp car... One lad in a VXR Astra got a real shock as he picked on the wrong IS200 for a traffic light duel... His jaw literallly hit the steering wheel as I was matching him every inch up the road! The look of puzzlement and panic on his face was priceless!!
