Usually on something like this i use a breaker bar and extend it with a piece of scaffold pipe slid over the end of the bar? having the extra length can really help get some serious pressure on things?

I didn't have a scaffold bar! I didn't knw where to buy one from..
But the good news is I bought a compressor earlier on today Big Grin
Wife isn't pleased but its a new toy for me!

Well at least you can get some paint spraying attachments and paint things now:lol:

the compressor I bought doesnt reach max pressure
so the airgun turns slowly!

Hi mate well the only way you going to get this off then is take the gearbox of the car, clamp the flywheel some how, why you try and undo the bolt on the crank or phone up a mobile mechanic as they have air tools on there van, but tell him all you want is the nut undone, and see what he says
