The no linking redz refers to is in conjunction with a breach of terms and conditions which are listed below I have highlighted the relevant point to which Redz knows about and we have spoken to regarding
Advertising - Please do not advertise a company or service in your signature unless you have previously been given express permission to do so by a member of the Admin Team. You can provide a link to a company or service in a post in a relevant section, if you have personally paid for an item or service which was for your own personal use. You can post general links you feel would be very useful to club members, but there must be no link between yourself and the company in question. Persistent promotion of links by members to any particular company or website is not allowed. OJC members are not to attempt to act as intermediaries with outside traders. If you know of a website, company or business that may be interested in becoming a trader on the Outlaw Jap Club, please ask them to contact [email protected] . If in any doubt whatsoever, please contact a member of the Moderating Team for guidance. Abuse of this privilege can mean a warning, a suspension, or if problems still continue, a permanent ban from this Club & Forum.
Redz has emailed us regarding this and the matter is in hand, we are discussing it as it appears things may have changed since we last spoke if this is the case there will not be a problem for links. After all helping the members of the club is the way forward and some suppliers are more expensive than others.
Please think about this when posting a link to try and keep costs as low as possible due to the recession and to enable everyone to spend money on our beloved cars
Hope this clarifies things

its a fusion one and some amp (cant remmber the make) not top quality but definitely ok.
just cos youve never heard of them doesnt mean there no good, ive got them so does alam kahn and are more than pleased with them
You prob havent heard of them as they are high end equipment and not everyday halfords stuff..
ask aaronabbot, alamkhan and mikey IS200/s13.. they all have these in and i have the smaller ones in the rear qtr panels for surround..
you will be hard pushed to find anything close to these at this price point..
the vibe6 arent bad speakers but at the same price, not as good.. all depends on your budget mate
Vibe 6 would be harder to install, as the tweeter does not hide under the OEM tweeter housing - I tried!!
MB Quarts are good, as are the Alpine Type R's of the same price, that I have in both of my cars. DJWozza has the model down from my Alpines they cost something like £90 and sound amazing in his car - although they are fitted perfectly, something that takes a lot of knowledge and time to do properly.
budget?
the mb quarts are in your price range then
cheaper than what i paid last year
My set up is great for me, plenty of Bass, and mid range with the tweeters turned down by 4db (6db in the MR2) on the crossover.
Bass needs proper set up though to get it from the fronts. Plenty of dynamat on the inside of the door will make the speakers sound so much better.
removing the rears lets more Bass through to the car, a trick used on lots of BMW's.
you could but it would sound poo:thumbdown:
You need an amp to power after-market fronts thats where the increased power and bass comes from. I started with a 4 channel amp powering the fronts and 1 sub, now I have 2 amps, 1 for the sub and 1 for the fronts.
