Plenty of amps that would do the job, using the OEM amp take left and right channel high outputs and use them to feed a signal to the new amp.

Anything from a 2nd hand amp at £50 to £150 for a new one. You just have to match the RMS wattages so you don't under power the speakers or worse over power them.

You then need a wiring kit - some places give them away, otherwise you will need £40ish for a wiring kit.

What is the total budget available then we can give you some options.

from a profesional point of view we always install amps that are more powerful than the speakers as this you will never cause damage to the amp but possibly the speakers but this way but you are expected to be sensible and not over drive the speakers you should know the limitations of things that are installed.

Agreed with you Rabs, my fronts are at the moment running front & rear channels bridged
i.e. front feeding left, rear the right speakers, therefore the amp will be capable of 240W RMS - gain set very low, sound is noticeably better than just 90W RMS front channel as nothing is being made to run at maximum.

its always better to OVERpower speakers as more damage is caused from clipping if the power isnt enough..

about £200 would get u a good amp to do all the work (again i cant link any to as bigbrother is watching) or if stav has a cheap amp for the sub, you could get away with one for £100..

wiring is between £30/£40..

i may be able to get you a deal on spkrs/amp package...

How loud do you want to go Dean?
and do you want to keep the stock head unit?
I would say the place to start any ICE build, is at the head unit.

All I do is run Vibe 6x9s at the back and mids and tweaters at the front, off the head unit. Its as loud as I could need, granted would like a sub, but its loud enough so you can't hear yourself talk when its cranked up.

Depends how loud you want to go????
