£20 isn't bad then to be fair - not so much of a rip off afterall Smile

It's all part of the club spirit isn't it? Took me such a long time to sort such a seemingly simple problem, it's only pence to get other people sorted too so why not Smile

Thanks a million Speedfreek! My oem sat nav is back talking to me after fitting one of your diode/resistor kits this morning, all for free aswell, what a guy. Only one minor hitch which is not down to your kit. My sat nav voice is only coming out of the driver's door speaker. Tried to trace left door sat nav speaker wire but my wiring diagram is for left hand drive with different colour wires. If i unplug all speakers from my aftermarket stereo i still get the sat nav voice from right door speaker which tells me that the sat nav must have separate speaker wires. I will descibe my oem plug and wires incase anyone can help. I have 14 wires on the oem stereo plug. top row is white/green/blue&pink/red&blue/green/blue&yellow. bottom row is brown/red/black/yellow/red&white/black/white&green/grey. Oem plug is from a 2002 is sport. Appreciate any help as to what all wires represent/go to etc or how to get both door speakers running for sat nav instead of just the driver's. Thanks again speedfreek for everything and hope i can help you out in the future.Smile

Glad you are happy mate and thanks for letting me know all is ok.

If I remember rightly, the nav voice only comes out of the drivers speaker anyway? At least it did in mine before i installed the bypass cable and aftermarket stereo.

Thanks for replying so quickly mate. You might be right then about the sat nav voice in drivers door speaker. It just did not sound as loud as before so i thought i was a speaker short. Aint i a dipstick. Anyway all is working well. My pioneer hd3 has a sat nav built in but i much prefer the one on the dash so i am not craning my neck looking down all the time. Smile

Silly question, but what is it you are after?

My kit will make your sat nav work with an aftermarket stereo with amp bypass cable - is that what you need?
