As previously mentioned, I've got these too. Not much to look at, and the flash wiped out the big TRD logos. These are only the torque mounts (the engine mounts that dampen the rotational force of the engine) - Fensport apparently don't stock the weight bearing ones as "they never wear out". I'm a little dubious that a little rubber mount taking the weight of a 3S-GTE for 15 years won't wear out, so I'm toying with buying the other two from somewhere else.

These won't be going on any time soon, I need my gearbox bellhousing repairing first.

OK, update time! I have fitted the fan kit:

I have decided where to put my auxilliary fusebox, and fitted it:

Note: it looks like it's on the **** but it isn't, that whole area needs the carpet fixing down properly and is all a bit mobile anyway.

Also booked the car in with my mechanic Luke (http://www.pacific-works.co.uk/) to get the flywheel, gearbox repair and engine mounts done.

So, we are getting somewhere with the never ending list. I'll realistically not get much more done before JAE other than getting the exhaust back together.
  • Amp board & subs reinstalled DONE
  • Speaker wire repair for driver's door components DONE
  • Alarm siren & engine bay switch working DONE
  • Alarm total closure DONE
  • HKS CAMP installed DONE
  • Omori 45mm boost gauge fitted in-dash DONE
  • HKS SSQV fitted DONE
  • Electric mirror control repair Investigated, spare control I've got is wrong one
  • Fit Walbro fuel pump
  • Alarm boot release Broken rear lock removed, pull release connected up in a much more sensible way than Toyota's & solenoid added, just needs cabling to the...
  • ... Accessory Fuse & Relay box installed DONE Needs wiring
  • Fan kit fitted DONE Needs wiring
  • Side strip mounts repaired
  • Foglights reinstalled
  • Front bumper repair (fibreglass)
  • Reversing camera reinstalled
  • Exhaust flexi repair Midpipe with couriers on its way back Big Grin
  • New heater controls, boot & fuel flap release & driver's carpet DONE
  • Purchase TD06 oil & water lines + new style TD06 adaptor
  • TD06 fitted
  • Gearbox bellhousing repair Booked 26th Sept.
  • TRD torque mounts Fitting booked 26th Sept.
  • Fidanza flywheel fitted Fitting booked 26th Sept.
  • Engine bay cleanup (powder coated rocker cover + inlet manifold + chargecooler, hoses colour coordinated, some new gaskets & clean up oil leak)
  • Diagnose chargecooler leak Sad

OK, well my car and I attended JAE (and I saw a few of you there) so logic says that the midpipe got fitted Big Grin I'm so much happier with the car now, you can have a conversation in the cabin and don't have to run the stereo flat out all the time!! It's the first time the exhaust has been solid in around a year and a half, since I decatted it.

Like I said above, the car is booked in for work next weekend and I'm away at the BTCC this weekend, so I doubt I will get much more done than the fusebox work, and that won't be until next week. I have to have the fan kit wired in prior to the garage trip otherwise I'll have no engine bay fan on the way home... I *might* do the walbro fuel pump too but that is a pig of a job and it depends on what the weather's like. So this is where we are at now:
  • Amp board & subs reinstalled DONE
  • Speaker wire repair for driver's door components DONE
  • Alarm siren & engine bay switch working DONE
