While my MR2 has all the practicality of a tent in a hurricane it was essential I bought a sensible car of some sort. Especially bearing in mind I have a 9.5 stone American Bulldog called Ollie

So, bearing in mind, i needed space and practicality, I still needed to keep a smile on my face while driving it !

So, after much searching I found an Audi A4 2.5TDi Quattro Sport.

Fully loaded with leather, sat nav, 18" alloys, sunroof etc etc etc and a bonus of chipped to 220bhp with mahooosive torque Confusedcared:

this is my 2nd car.. whats yours ?

MR2 is just a toy for us - an unused toy at the moment, so the daily driver is a Gen2 Prius.

Love it for its ease of use, practicable, smooth, lots of toys, silent - well when the stereo isn't turned up then it is very loud indeed, and of course 50MPG on average doesn't hurt either.

so your nice to your stepdad then

The Sat nav in the Audi is a CD system, so runs on small screen in between gauges on dash, not brilliant, but functional.. shame is is not the DVD system which is on a larger screen in centre.

True ! But the IS200 boot isn't very big, rear seats don't fold, so it's not super-practical ! But I'm not complaining Big Grin

I did get to drive a Ford Mondeo (latest shape) a little while back when my car was off the road. I have to say I was kinda shocked how good it was. Cars have certainly moved on a long way in the last 10 years.
