lost power to my windows and gauge
lost power to my windows and gauge
May be a totally different fuse mate, as there are 2 plugs on the back of the cluster, one may be the gauges, one may be lights? so the light fuse may be working and gauge not working?
well the fuse keeps blowing.???? changed it and tried a 15 amp as the was no more 10 amp and that blew. so what might be causing this from a clutch change?
no wires in the car were removed when i did the clutch. just took the battery off so safty sake.
might have to check all the wires in the center consol just in case. i have my start switch in there and thats the only thing i moved in the car
May have removed a wire mate? Which could have been a ground wire sending too much power to the fuse nearest to it?
still it's to late to pull it apart tonight. will drive it to work and have a look in the morning. would this make for the whining noise then?
hmm dont think so mate, as it would have nothing to do with exhaust manifold/engine exhaust side, would it?
I don't think that's anything to do with the noise, though. Is your Start switch wired into the gauge cluster circuit ?
ok, that was probably a silly question, because the Start switch is going to be wired to the ignition switch circuit. That uses a 20A fuse, so if that has somehow shorted out on the gauge cluster circuit then it would be blowing the fuse.
well i know were to look for the answers tomorrow morning. will be checking the start switch to see if anything is wrong there. thanks for the help guys. will find out whats wrong and let you know
