Should I make my engine bay look like this...?
I'm also thinking of fitting a blue aluminium radiator panel at some point, so should I do something in the middle too to fill in the gap like this?
The car is black, but I'm hopefully going to be getting some bronze rota torque wheels with blue anodized wheel nuts. So it should all tie in?

26-02-2018, 04:41 AM #1I've been planning on repainting the towers on my strut brace from black to cusco blue. Or the nearest equivalent anyway, which I've read is Vauxhall Arden Blue (like on the VXR's).

jimxms Subtle but effective mate. I'd spray the rad panel if you do it though, as that's the only thing which spoils that pic for me.
(but then i'm a pedantic mofo)
The colours dont quite match because thats a picture of my actual engine bay which I photshoped earlier. (the rad panel was cut and pasted in from another car. lol)
But yee I agree, it all needs to be the same colour to work. I'm in the process of spraying the towers as we speak.

26-02-2018, 10:09 AM #7I've done two coats with the blue, but I ran out of sunshine so I couldn't do the laquer today. But I'll get that done tomorrow and get it re assembled, might go back to halfords and get some plastic primer to do the two engine covers after that.
I'll get a pic up tomorrow once its all re assembled.cusco stickers on the way...
and definitely taking your advice about the rad panel, im just going to get one in a plain matt anodized finish and spray it with the same paint as the towers.
