Has anyone come across any decent 52mm gauge cups? All I can find on eBay are really nasty looking ones Sad

Hmm. I'm wondering how big the MPG gauge is on the speedo cluster. Would be really cool if I could ditch that and mount my PLX digital dooberry behind it.

I dont have the skills to 'make' something myself, and being a perfectionist I'd probably get p155ed off with myself if I tried to make anything and it wasn't perfect.

Youve just got the little PLX gauge?

Why not fit it where the air vent is to the right of the steering wheel?

You'd just remove the vent, cut a piece of plastic the same shape, cut the hole out the middle and voila.
I'd personally wrap the plastic in Carbon fibre to make it look better.

Its looks good, no one really uses them vents (if you just remove the bottom one so the "window" one is still there. and doesnt stand out.

Yeah I had given that some thought as it would be quite neat and discreet. I started looking for a spare vent on ebay to mess around with, but looking at ones which have been removed it seems that they bolt on behind the dash, therefore requiring the removal of the dash to get to them?

Im not positive but i reckon you could reach up behind the dash if you remove the panel under the steering wheel,
will look this weekend when i fit my flocked dash.

Is the MPG gauge about the same size as an OEM MR2 turbo/battery gauge, the one in the middle? There are digital gauges that fit that gauge.

Hang on there are little digital gauges that fit all the MR2 spaces? Surly they can be show horned into place???

Final resting place tbh. All the pods look like **** and I dont want a whole gauge cluster thing for just one dial.
