Hey all.

I was wondering how easy it is to remove the pre cats? I plan to keep the OEM cat, and have a cat back, but also delete the 2 cats on the manifold.

If there is a how to that would be great. I have done a search and I understand the car will pass MOT with just the main cat.

Cheers in advance.

OK, but I remember on my Celica Turbo the surface area of the manifold (where it mated to the head) was distorted due to some welding work and had to be resurfaced.

Have there been such problems with the IS200? Also do the studs etc have a bad habit of snapping, so I can buy bit on standby.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Studs seem pretty good mate, mines been off and on a few times now, i've got the decatted oem manifold on mine and had no problems with it, mines had the cats cut open and cleaned out, then re-welded up :thumbup1: also passes the MOT no problem
