Hi all my obd 2 says my bank 2 sensor 1 sensor fail so ive replaced but light comes back on after ive reset can anyone help please ive checked that 12v goes to sensor and ground is present too i just dont know where the sensor leads go in car loom to see if open circuit

first did you replace the right one? this one has the connector down the bottom of the exhaust pipe just to the left of the cat. and have you replaced it with a toyota/lexus one or a ebay one.

think also that o2 sensor and lambda sensor are not the same.

thats what a lambda sensor is o2 sensor

bank 2 sensor 1 is the one on the manifold to cylinders 456

where did you get the replacement from?

the one in after the cat is different i think so if you got one from a scrapper they may have sent you that one?

try swaping them over to see if the fault come up on bank 1. then you know it's the sensor thats wrong or broken.

went to a autoparts place to get it right ive switched the sensors and the problem moves ive tested the old one in bank 1 sensor 1 and there is no output on old labda from bank 2 sensor 1 so that is defin naff! i connected bank 1 sensor 1 into bank 2 sensor 1 socket and it works fine so its now down to new lambda sensor so im guessing this is a universal and thats why its not working guess right????

my fuel trim on bank 2 sensor 1 just sits at 19.5% and minimal voltage read out! there is no fluxuations on voltage between 0.2v-0.8v so its defin sensor
