Fixed the amp for the subs today - it had a blown MOSFET so it shorted the power supply and went straight into 'protect'. Whipped it to bits, found the blown one and replaced it for about £8. Sods law that something would give up after I'd taken the deposit!

Also wired up the mirrors to autoclose/open with the alarm. It's a feature Dan's IS200 had and I quite liked it. Only took 2 diodes and 1 bit of wire!

Hey mate.

We may need to reschedule the collection date if that's ok? I can't get the time off work until the Wed 3rd, but I have a wedding rehearsal that evening, then a birthday on the 4th, Friday 5th would be one option for me. Got a wedding on the 6th (saturday) then free again on the 7th (sunday).

But will have to be even later if not convenient for you Smile

Hurricane Can you tell me which wires, as i want to wire mine to do the same.....once i wire in the retracting mirrors!

On the rear window slider there are 2 wiring connectors, 1 is 3 pin and 1 is 4 pin. The 4 pin one has a blue wire with a white stripe and a blue wire with a black stripe - it's these 2 in my car. Basically, one is +12v for lock and the other is +12v for unlock. You connect them to the pink wire for the mirror retract switch with a diode for each wire to make sure that current can only flow from the blue wires to the pink wire. Then every time you lock or unlock the car the pink wire sees +12v. Wiring looms tend to be different colours import/UK though, so as you have the female connector in your hand (the one that's NOT attached to the window slider) looking into the pin end not the wire end it's top right and bottom right.
