Ha, Kabul is 3555 miles from London - practically next door you gotta do better.

Lived in Singaore for over two years, and then Perth, Australia for six months, all for work, but it wasn't exactly a hardship posting lol.

Well been a while since the last update. thats because there isn't much to say - apart from the Toyota trucks - picture tells a thousand words:

Think I may buy this one its 26,995K, if they drop to 22K its a deal - 5.7 supercharged Toyota Tundra I-Force V8 muscle.

I think Heather will need a step ladder to get in though

Sorry about the dark photos, it was 8.30pm and STILL 100f, during the day time its to hot to look at cars, some dealers here open till 11pm, and have full daylight lit inside showrooms, seams normal to buy at night here, they are geared up for it.

Oh dropped off the hateful piece of stig hire car called the Mustang V6 - so underpowered and SLOW to respond to anything, it was a disappointment - probably the V8 is better but unfortunately I have my doubts and from what locals say about them:thumbdown:, it has been replaced with an "economy car" - they gave me a V8 Ford Crown Victoria, it is a 4.6L V8 and is the worst car ever put onto the road.

Handles like jelly, breaks and steering have NO feel, massively big, slow steering, seats are like arm chairs and well its ****. The Police use them, and Taxis, I have no idea why there is NOTHING I can see that is good about it. Well its mine for 3 more weeks, and for $580 due to a special offer from AMEX I can't complain - but I will.

I so need a good Jap car, its when you don't have something is when you miss it. Apart from the Dodge charger - that is a work of art to look at and to drive - the V6 version has the 250bhp Mitsubishi 3.5L V6 so slightly Jap????

I think they use the crown vic because it's so cheap!! Probably agree about the mustang too, haven't driven the new one but the last gen V6 was horrible! Slow, awful handling and felt like a truck!

I generally try to stick to GM cars when I'm in the US as I find them a lot better - love the suburbans, have rented 3 or 4 in the last 2 years. The cadillacs are awesome too, the CTS is surprisingly nice to drive.

How old is that truck? Doesn't look that old, and if so that's pretty good value for money Smile
