Brake cylinder
Brake cylinder
Right im going to start installing my line lock before i put the engine back in as ive more room to work in the engine bay lol
but i need to install it between the abs actuator and the master cylinder. My question is, which line from the master cylinder is for the front brakes?
theres 2 that then go to the actuator then split into 4 to go to each wheel.
I dont want to guess then find ive locked the rear wheels! doh.
ive tried Bahamut cars but no answers
Anyone able to help?
Indeed bahamut cars doesn't go in depth enough, I found schematics of the braking system involving the ABS actuator but nothing that definitively describes which pipe goes where.
My only suggestion is to start digging and follow the brake lines to the individual wheels.
I think you may have to re-plumb the abs output. Chances are that the two supply lines into the actuator are diagonally split on the output as a safety feature. To get fronts only I think you will need to swap one front and rear output from the actuator.
Think I'll put a little water in the cylinder then push it through to the abs and work it out that way
Your idea seems sensible though pete, thanks
No cause the systems empty at the mo with my rebuild
I'll try it with just air see if I can figure it out
