What type is it? is it a spline drive anyoneknow what size im in ireland so cant get hand on my dads stripping it down for me?

The ones in the 1GGTE are hex socket head, i imagine the 1gfe to be the same

just checked Bahamutcars (id get your dad hooked up to the site!) and its a 10mm bi hexagon wrench.

so yeah 10mm spline socket

thats what i read but searching that it only comes up with the sockets not the male part if you know what i mean lol im more electrical Smile wast sure if spline 12 point drive was the same as such

you can undo head bolts with a torx head, the GT4 is spline drive but i used torx to split my block no problems

so long as you get the right size in which the splines fit into the grooves, push it right into the heads then slowly crack them it will be fine, we always undo them with the torx

The arps will be studs and nuts won't they, same as mine. For that you need a multi spline 12mm socket iirc.

Well they are off now the engine is gleaming really clean so very gd news!

yeah mate they will be the same mate what the arps set you back? were they from IKE?
