Hi guys just want to know, im sure my a/c not working anyway, and never use it, if i remove it, the pump pipe, condencer/radiator, will i get any faults, or is anything that is needed connected to this system? also the a/c pully close to my S/c piping and has touched at some point made a bit of a mess of the edge of the a/c pully so just want to take it off, seen it can be done but its been on older less electrical controlled car.

so don't want to do it if im guna be getting DTC's

But I've got a standalone ecu remember.

You may get a code cause the ecu reads the air con system pressure and temp. But theyre more for the rad fan for that side.

Remind me later and I'll have a look.

A/C cannot throw a engine code.
It is a heck of a lot of work to remove the whole system - dash out etc. You will save a lot of weight doing this probably not enough to make any real world difference apart from destroying any resale valve of the car.
