How about using good old brasso? I use it after I wash my car every time. Keeps the headlights really clear if they have any cloudyness etc..

Good Afternoon folks!

Firstly a massive thanks to those of you who suggested Mcguires Headlight restoration kit. I can honestly say its the best £20 ive spent recently and I must have enough for about another 10+ applications. Bargain!

For those of you wanting a guide on how to remove a Headlight from an IS200 inc the front bumper I used link as posted by SparkyMarky on LOC.

Its very good, but pay attention to the below posts RE the retaining Clip. I had this on mine, and its likely you have on yours so be careful Smile

So here some pics.
Headlight before Restoration

Heres it once the headlight removed. For an extra 10mins I could of taken the bumper off, but there was no need. In reality I could have done it on the car with some careful taping. But as my headlight was quite bad I thought I'd take it out completely and do a thorough job.

Here the clip I mentioned, as you can see I chewed mine a little. Its pretty tough going and well worth getting a rag just to protect your bumper while pressing these down and pulling the headlight out. would have been easier if I had a helper (just saying)

And here it is all restored. Very happy with the results!Smile

And a before and after shot Smile
