water in drivers side bolster, water coming in through pillar
water in drivers side bolster, water coming in through pillar
My mates IS200 sport cross is having water leakage problems, anyone know what the solution is?
Yea - remove his rear window wiper motor and send it to me.
Which pillar is it coming through?
Could it be a blocked drainage channel from the sunroof?
I told him to check the sunroof, but I thought the pipe was passenger side, or are there two? I'm pretty sure it's coming in drivers side.

I think there is 2 best thing is remove the pillar cover and sit in the car while Some one else pours a pint of water over the roof see if you can track down where it starts etc

Most cars with a factory tilt and slide sunroof have 4 drain tubes (One at each corner of the sunroof "Pan"). This is so it doesn't matter if the cars parked facing up hill, Down hill or side on to the slope, Water can still drain from whichever corner it accumulates in.
