Automatic is300 question
mattlaw They're not that bad really when cimpared to an is200 auto, it all depends in driving style, my current exhaust is that loud, I don't really have to Push the noisy pedal to get it making a fantastic sound, reco the 300 would probably stretch to 160 miles depending on the cars usage

It's down to preference as there like 2 totally different cars the tezza is a revvy car but the is300 is a cruiser low revs both awesome cars but I like being lazy now so had to get at is300 lol
Mines got a 3 1/2 inch catback and its not overly loud but sounds gorgeous
Either is300 or tezza purely because they both have around 210bhp so it's easier to get the back out but if you can find a supercharged is200 then that'll be good too it's quite a hard decision to be fair lol
Tezza doesn't have as nice an interior.
Bit of misleading info in here, the 300 manual mode is exactly like the IS250, it is simply limiting the box to the highest gear it can use.
In fact if I remember correctly you cannot even shift into 1st manually in the 300, something they fixed for the 250.
yup in any driving condition if you shift to manual mode it will always put you in 5th so you have to take your foot off the accelerator to drop the revs then change down with the buttons, then fly off in 3rd or 4th then change up where you want or red line it, where the auto mode would of changed gear alot earlier on the upshifts.
you could use the L1 L2 L3 then manual route for low end pull offs to give it a more manual feel but dont throw the revs too high in the Lgears you could cook them reving to high.
