After a lot of searching I managed to find a plain black bootlid - no rear brake light, but I can live with that. It allowed me to get my KGW replica rear spoiler fitted

I also had a delivery from Carbon Miata - WELL worth the wait, and no customs charges either

The sills won't be fitted for a while as the car will be going in for bodywork repairs / enhancements soon - but I did retrim the doorcards and get the speaker covers fitted:

Yes yes... I know I need to paint the speaker grille - it's on the list. I'm also going to remove some of the original padding from behind the original armrest holes to stop it protruding.
To finish today's update, here is my interior so far - vastly different to the original mess it was when I got the car
