set of 264's is only £350, another new turbo would be £1200...

Ryan is having another go at getting 300bhp on the 7th Oct. will have a word with him and see what he reckons.

Fair point. I'm not sure how much of a power gain you'd see from it but Ryan is your man for that as cam changes are all in the mapping.

Got the car back from Pacific Works today (thanks to Dan for the lift). As well as the work I'd asked for they also identified the following faults, and rectified them:

Worn out driveshaft seals
Bent driveshaft guide on gearbox
Oval shaped gear shifter bush!!
Missing anti-vibration rubber bolt thing on driveshaft

However Luke also pointed out that the hard-to-find oil leak is my oil pump on the way out Sad It's still pumping properly, but is leaking a bit. So I've added a few things to the list...
  • Amp board & subs reinstalled DONE
  • Speaker wire repair for driver's door components DONE
  • Alarm siren & engine bay switch working DONE
  • Alarm total closure DONE
  • HKS CAMP installed DONE
  • Omori 45mm boost gauge fitted in-dash DONE
  • HKS SSQV fitted DONE
  • Electric mirror control repair Investigated, spare control I've got is wrong one
  • Fit Walbro fuel pump
  • Alarm boot release Broken rear lock removed, pull release connected up in a much more sensible way than Toyota's & solenoid added, just needs cabling to the...
  • ... Accessory Fuse & Relay box installed DONE
  • Fan kit fitted DONE
  • Side strip mounts repaired
  • Foglights reinstalled
  • Front bumper repair (fibreglass)
  • Reversing camera reinstalled
  • Exhaust flexi repair DONE
  • New heater controls, boot & fuel flap release & driver's carpet DONE
  • Purchase TD06 oil & water lines + new style TD06 adaptor
  • TD06 fitted
  • Gearbox bellhousing repair DONE
  • TRD torque mounts DONE
  • Fidanza flywheel fitted with ARP bolts DONE
  • Intercooler out DONE
  • Engine bay cleanup (powder coated rocker cover + inlet manifold + chargecooler, hoses colour coordinated, some new gaskets & clean up oil leak)
  • Diagnose chargecooler leak Sad
  • New Oil & Water pumps

Think thats how most lists work when a cars involved, you get one bit done than you have to add another to the list  Was quite tempted to do one for mine but i'd need quite a few pages to start with :Chair:

You'll get there matey, you allready have a nice motor there so all these bits you've got to sort out will only make it better :thumbup1:

I'm really happy with this last round of work, it's like a different car. Starting the engine is different, revving in neutral is different, changing gear is different. And they're all the better kind of different Smile Much quieter and smoother in the cabin too, now the engine's not moving around loads and knocking into things!

Edit: I also dropped off a spare rocker cover and inlet manifold that I had lying around to get prepped and painted with VHT paint. Every attempt I've made at painting up car parts has failed so I'm just going to pay someone else to do it instead Big Grin
