This is a step by step how to for halo/angel eyes for your S1 Stagea headlights. Please adapt headlight removal if you are doing a different vehicle.

Items required,
Appropriate tools for removal/installation,
Acrylic rod or similar,
Led's of choice,
Heat shrink tube,
Wire,
Connectors for wiring to side lights.

1, Remove headlights from the car, ( no pics for this) but here is how, unscrew the side light from the headlight, screw is on top, the side light will pop off when you give it a sharp pull forward, next step undo the 2 bolts on the inside behind the grill, 2 bolts on the slam panel then behind the light at the bottom rear there is a nut undo all these pop the light out to disconnect the wires. All nut/bolts are 10mm.

2, Separating the glass from the light unit, there are 5 clips circled, to help hold the lens on, these just pop off with a screw driver,

3. Heat the light unit to soften the bonding between the glass and the light unit, I used a heat gun but you can place the whole light in a warm oven to soften, please remember this is going to be hot so wear gloves, and do not leave unattended, when it is soft enough use something to separate the 2 parts, i used a wide paint scraper, once done it should look like this,

4, Once you are at this stage find something the right size for the reflector, you need something so that when you make the rings it sits inside the reflector, i used a kitchen towel holder and a glass for mine.

5, I bought some acrylic rod 10mm dia for this depending on led's used, cut it a little bigger than you need to hold when shaping, once you have it the right size place 1 rod in a hot oven for approx 3-4 mins (please check as ovens vary) when it is soft enough to bend form it around your chosen item. Repeat this for all 4 or 2 which ever you decide to do or have. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS HOT PLASTIC AND WILL BURN YOU. Once you have done this it should look like this.

6, Trim the ends so you have enough room to install the led's
[Image: HPIM1244_zpsfc1c2afa.jpg]
do this for all the rings, then drill a hole in each end of the ring just enough for the led to fit in, this will leave the hole dull use clear nail polish or a blue flame to make the hole clear again.

7, Once you have done that use some heat shrink tube to cover the led and a bit further up the rod,
[Image: HPIM1246_zpsdcc19df7.jpg]
once you have it done you need to cut small slots in what will be the rear of the light, this deflects the light to the front,
[Image: HPIM1260_zpse6afc97c.jpg]
Left without slots Right with you can see the difference
[Image: HPIM1247_zps37a27745.jpg]

8, Once you have done this for all the rings you need to put reflective tape on the back of the ring covering the slots, this helps push the light forward more. I bought some heat resistant aluminium tape from halfords for this.
Repeat for all the rings, then you can install the led's into the rings, use heat shrink to cover the end of the rod and to hold the led in place, this also stops light leaking from the end of the rod as seen here,

9, Once all the rods have been done to this step it is time to check they are working.

10, When they are checked it is time to install them into the reflector, you can use clear P clips or as i did hot melt glue to hold mine in place.
when you have fitted them and run the wires out the back off the unit check they are still working before the final steps.

11, When all the steps are complete it is time to replace the glass on the rest of the unit, you can warm them both up again softening the bonding then putting both parts back together, refit the clips, if unsure about perfect sealing you can silicone around the joint.

12, I checked mine once the glass was refitted but it's not essential.

13, Final step refitting the lights to your car to see the final result,
