Is300 headlights
Is300 headlights
Has anyone fitted is300 headlights to a is200 as I've been offered some cheap and wondered if the bodywork needed to be altered to make them fit, I don't want to alter the wings with them been fibreglass.

You will need to alter the wings. The 300 and 200 wings are not the same.
Do you know which parts need altering is it just the 2 mounting points?

Unsure, I know you have to trim something off to fit is300 wings on a 200 with 200 lights, from memory the mounting brackets are completely different to accommodate the hid pack in the 300 light cluster.
I know that's not very useful, but it might be a case of try it and see.
I might just get an other set of is200 lights then just to be sure as that's the last thing I want to be doin is altering the wings after I've painted them, cheers mate

I did it before, its not a graceful process...I had to cut a piece of the new headlights off at the lower outer corners and then hammer the brackets/mounting points on the fenders so they sit further into the car. The IS200 headlight mounting point will cause the entire headlight to protrude about an inch away from where it should be.
I thought that there MUST be an easier way but at the end it didn't bother me too much- any other replacements are likely to come from an IS300 (aftermarket) and the work is already done. You can get it to fit just be prepared for the work....or have a shop do it for you.
Note: You don't have to alter the visible outer portion of the fender- just the brackets on the inside.
