It Turbo it a 4.0 litre engine it pretty much a one off quote and if you paid £1300 and AF Quoted you £1600 i dont think that is too far off taking every thing into account.
Had you been quoted £1300 for a standard car and A/F quoted you £1600 that a different story.
Marcus i think it fair to say that your car is not the normal thing to quote on.

iLLzLex can anyone now feel my pain on insuring an is200 at 18?
I don't think any of us could afford a Lexus when we were 18. Lol.
I think when i was 18, my Lexus was worth £30k.
My first car was a G reg 1.1 Fiesta :laugh:

guess i'm just expecting it to be cheaper, however maybe insurance companies have a minimum limit on what they charge, and maybe i am on that?

*Hint Hint*) with 5 years NCB, and the best quote i got was £430, which is £20 less than last year.I'm guessing then i'm not going to get it much cheaper than that for this year.
