I was paying just over £1k for my charged IS200 with Sky - hope it's not too bad next year Sad.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

Marcus i think it fair to say that your car is not the normal thing to quote on.
It Turbo it a 4.0 litre engine it pretty much a one off quote and if you paid £1300 and AF Quoted you £1600 i dont think that is too far off taking every thing into account.

Had you been quoted £1300 for a standard car and A/F quoted you £1600 that a different story.

I don't think any of us could afford a Lexus when we were 18. Lol.
I think when i was 18, my Lexus was worth £30k.

My first car was a G reg 1.1 Fiesta :laugh:





I know this has been asked in the past, but what is every one elses insurance for a almost standard-ish IS200 ?

guess i'm just expecting it to be cheaper, however maybe insurance companies have a minimum limit on what they charge, and maybe i am on that?

Dean that does seem a little dear for your dads car.
Mine was around the £380 mark for the sc430, i going to check this when i get home.
£1000 Seems quite dear.
