I've also got the Jumvea Certificate and the import documents and all the shipping and dvla documents showing its an import and the dates it was brought into the country, :thumbup1: so at least they can't argue with it being an import? :biggrin:

did it get a sva test or just a mot?when it was imported.

It came into the country with 96k on the clock and its only done 128k now so not done a massive amount of miles in the past 3 years by the look of it :thumbup1:

Not sure mate, it came through a company called SN IMPORTS in Bristol in 2006? they imported the car and sorted all the shipping etc? i have the paperwork for the shipping and the dvla registration but nothing saying anything about an SVA test :confused:
It came into the country with 96k on the clock and its only done 128k now so not done a massive amount of miles in the past 3 years by the look of it :thumbup1:

if it was imported and mot'd you can run the small plates if its been sva tested you cant as part of the sva test says the plates must conform too uk laws.(but your saving grace is they wont dig that deep mate and prob just let you go)

The rules regarding what can be imported into the UK depend on the age of the car:
* Any car over 10 years old can be imported. It will need to pass an MOT like any other car.

its all a lot of dribble just get the wee plate on i even got confused their for a while.you'll be ok.was on the phone to my mate that preps the cars for sva testing sva testing started in 2001 some of the older cars were sva tested due to some importers not knowing how it works some importers are still sva testing older cars!!!:ohmy:
