Changing suspension?
Changing suspension?
How easy is it to change the suspension for OEM replacment? I know it's a straight swap but whats involved, is it just a case of undo a few bolts at the top and then swing the leg out of the bottom once thsose bolts etc. are out of the way? or is it far more involved than that? cheers:biggrin:
Which bits of the suspension are you changing ? Just the shocks and keeping the springs ? Changing shocks and springs for coilovers ? Changing suspension arms etc ?
Shocks and springs, just want to drop the shocks out with the springs still on and put new ones in.
fairly easy mate, the only prob you'll have is on the rear when you'll have to put a bit of weight on the rear hub to allow you some more room to move the shock assembly out,
i changed all mine when i put my coilovers on in just over 2 hours and that was taking my time :thumbup1:
Cheers:biggrin:
Found when i did mine a few times, that if you drop the anti roll bar lower drop link bolt out it gives you a bit more freedom on the rears, and makes life a bit easier :thumbup1:
You got some new ones to go on then mate? or you still thinking of coilovers/ lowering springs for the future?

DJ Wozza Lil' Tony @WIM did mine in 45 mins from start to finish, but obviously he had a lift and air tools.
