Is it easier than the front? I'm thinking remove wheel, crack the bottom bolt on the caliper and lift up away fron the disc. Remove pads, push back caliper piston, put in new pads, fold caliper back over disc back, tighten bottom up to ? Torque put wheel back on..
Can get the job done for around 70 or can buy the pads for 30, just wondering if it's more complex than my basic mechanical skills, It may be worth paying someone the hours labour rate to fit..
What dya reckon?

Simpler thank that to change the pads,

Wheel off, remove the clip, pads out, push pistons back, new pads in, clips back on. Job done.

So I don't even need to unbolt the caliper.

remove wheel, slide out retaining pin, remove one pad, push cylinder back with a tool that looks like this
[Image: passive-lock-bar-clamps-66.jpg]
put something between brake rotor and cylinder (without doing this you will push out one cylinder while pushing in the other), remove other pad and do the same with that cylinder, insert new pads, assemble springs and pin etc... dont forget copper grease.

no need to remove caliper

here is a manual:

I think - a total DIY

So was just looking on eurocarparts. Can get padgit pads at £30 and believe it or not they are running a 31pc discount on service parts till the end other month which means. Can get them for 19.. Short tem anyone see any issues with slotting these pads in..
am thinking of saving up for some new discs n pads in the coming months anyway to freshen things up a bit so don't want to go mental on a set of pads which ultimately will be binned. However I do want to stop...
