Very nice job. Think that mod will be done to ours.

It's a pain in the **** if I'm honest. The rear light clusters work in such a way that the trailing lead is +ve and they share a common ground. However that end of the instrument cluster shares a common +ve and each light is grounded by relays/switches/whatever. It's not insurmountable but it involves chopping the tracks on the I/C up a bit more than I had intended. The other end of the instrument cluster would've been an easier place to put it, in hindsight Smile Maybe replacing the ABS light as mine doesn't have ABS.

Your instrument cluster will be quite different I'd have thought! Might even have a cable driven speedo...

How are the rear fogs done on yours, have they just snipped the wires to the inner two brakelights and stuck them on a maplin-esque switch?

Nope not cable driven as its a Rev2 not rev1 which were the only cable driven speedos iirc, As for the rear fogs yep there as you suggested they are in the 2 inner lights with a "maplin" esc switch :glare: lol which was done by the previous owner not me but hey it pases the mot which is all i needed

Ah fair enough, I wasn't sure if it was rev1 or rev2 as there's a pic of it before all the paintwork with what looks like rev1 14" wheels Smile

This turned up today:

MOT booked for Friday, have to get legal front numberplate attached somehow + working rear fogs before then. I'm about to go out for dinner so that pretty much just leaves tomorrow!!
