I see where you're coming from Rob, wish I could help further but I don't have an SC kit, and although I do have one of the same sort of intercoolers as Dimis, it's up at Charlesworth Motors getting the turbo conversion done at the moment.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

i had some info back from dimitris, he used a 63mm-57mm reducer to fit the original pipe work. based on that info i wont have any probs getting 60mm hose fitting the cooler.

for future infos, you do not need any reducers for the larger sized intercooler, the inlets are not 100% round but slightly oval with 66mm at the widest point, 60mm silicone hose with a 5mm wall thickness easily fits over the inlets.

ok thanks for confirmation... its a right pain in the **** not being able to check on the car myself, hence all the questions!!! sorry guys.

for clamps well im not sure yet, i want to go for the mikalor type clamps but the adjustment range is so small ill have a look when i am back home and order then, but at the monent it looks like i would have to go for the 63-68mm clamps. ill also see what i can borrow  from work though!

The 59- 63 clamps are more than big enough for the 60mm hoses , thats what I have used. I've not done the 50mm hoses yet so not quite sure what size you need for them but think its 53mm ones
