Door cards - Leather under the suade?

A few months ago I found this thread: http://my.is/forums/f90/suade-removed-do...ew-401226/ - I'd love to know if this is really true and if it's the same thing with the dark interior. Does anyone have a spare door card just lying around?

09-12-2016, 03:41 PM #2Sounds quite good if it works but I can't see why it would have leather underneath though cost wise!! Worth trying on a spare door card though.

In any case if someone has a spare door card they should try this! Or maybe if we all donate a few quid each we can get one off ebay

That's really weird - but it can't be leather that just makes no sense. It could be some kind of vinyl backing for the suede so that nothing shows through the perforations or something like that.........
