Will this fit in my map light??
Thought I'd get as big as possible and after a little bit of rough measurements I think it'll fit but just not 100% sure. What u think?

15-12-2016, 08:07 AM #2I wonder if that'll be too bright though. Fine if you only use it when you're stationary, but what if you want to turn it on when driving, e.g. if your passenger is checking a map for you ?

15-12-2016, 08:10 AM #3Hmmm but with it being LED its a very focussed beam pattern though. Never thought it would be so hard finding the right type of bulb lol. I'm not too sure on the smaller ones as from looking at pics the smaller 6 led ones for example I think dont use up enough of the available space while on the other hand this one is wider so would therefore use up a good amount of width and fill out the 2 little lenses on the map light as well.
2 minute job if that! be careful not to tear the roof lining when poping out the dome cover

15-12-2016, 08:11 AM #4as long as its not to long it will be fine mate, just lay the panel with the LEDs on the plastic dome lid then tuck wires in on top/behind of the led panel in between the roof and it should pack in nicely 2 minute job if that! be careful not to tear the roof lining when poping out the dome cover

15-12-2016, 08:18 AM #6Well I tend to use my map light quite a lot really and find it quite handy but I dont really use it whilst driving but either way I dont find the map light annoying in any way really so think it may be ok. I've already got the cover off so have got an idea of what kinda space I've got to work with but its just a matter of making up my mind on which one to get lol.
