As most of you know that i have bought Marcus's V8 is200.
well got back to today at 7 in the morning took a lot of brakes on the way back. Right so far the car sounds amazing and has few problems to sort out.

so phoned up Thor racing today for the adaption kit for the R154 gearbox to the 1UZFE and they said they have them in stock just the transmission bracket will be made end of February so i am going to order the gearbox on Monday so i get everything soon and the bracket will come later.

went down to the my cousin's garage called cruise motor sport. they have done a few conversions so far. they will be working on the car from now. the plans so far are to get the engine out the car because the manifold gaskets need to be changed and there is not enough clearance to get the manifold off and once the engine is out it would be easier to get the gearbox hooked up to it. the mechanic is also going to look over everything that has been done to the car so as far as i know everything is perfect. while the engine is out the battery is getting moved in the boot so its a side but at the moment the battery is sitting in the passenger side. then the ECU will go on and remapped once everything is mechanically working and fine thats when i am going to start working on the body work.

will keep everyone updated about everything .
have not got any pics just yet but will take some soon and post them up so people could see the car now.

Sounds good Asi. Up to you, but why don't you post up a list of all the things you're planning to do to it ? Would be good to start that off again here, so people can follow the progress in this thread without referring back to the other one too ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

You're not a mechanic? Blimey, how on earth did you do all that by yourself, that's mighty impressive!

Marcus I am sure everyone will agree you have done a pretty fine job on the conversion and it should not be knocked by anyone especially as you're not a mechanic, maybe you should be :tongue_smilie:

Looking forward to see this monster progress Asi, roll on the tuning and fun :thumbup1:

All the best with this project. Yea remember Marcus is not a mechanic, I think what he has accomplished so far is kinda amazing!!

Marcus even my cousin says the person who has done must be a very good mechanic because its done very well and he goes its nothing major that is needing done just small things and there is room for a lot of improvement.

so far the list is as follows
engine out and looked at
manual gear box
relocate the battery
leather interior going in as the battery is going in to the boot so the interior going to be out
Power FC going in
injectors
remapped
then painted
