Google Nexus One (new mobile phone)
Read between the lines though as most complaints are not phone problems but what should these phone cost with or without contract.
People are also saying that they are not getting the answers to there question quick enough.
It does say that there are others reported bugs when synchronising contacts or getting the handset to work with existing Google accounts.
I wouldn't fancy a phone that has only email support though. Sure, there are good unofficial forums etc where you can get excellent support (like xda-developers for WM phones), but you'd want to be able to phone up the people you bought the phone wrong if it had a real problem.
It's a shame they didn't put it in a flash body to truly rival the iPhone - it isn't really much of a step forward from the other Android handsets around.
Agree about the keyboard comment too, I love my magic but would love it more with a proper keyboard - I think the Droid will be my next handset unless something else comes out when it's time
I am getting bored of my Nokia phone. I use iphones a lot at work and I do like them but I can't bring myself to buy one for some reason.
I am very tempted to get one of these. Can anyone help me to avoid customs on it however?
My Nokia phone should sell for virtually what the Nexus is going to cost sim free (around £330) but its the fact that customs might catch me and then I have to pay VAT and import duties.
Does anyone have any tips or know ways around it?

Are you absolutely sure you want the nexus one? It is nice, but I'm not entirely convinced by it. For me the Motorola Droid (or Milestone in the UK) is a better option due to the slide out keyboard, plus it's available in the UK from Expansys so you don't need to worry about customs. It will also be getting the android 2.1 update so no worries there either.
The other option is the SonyEricsson Xperia X10 which looks sexy as hell, same problem with the OS as it will I think be launched with 2.0 but should be upgraded at some point.
I don't know why people are still talking about the iPhone, these new android handsets blow it out of the water, especially the screen resolution!
