Gord I think thats high price mate  my ST is group 17 i live high risk area i do have full NCB, no points/conv £421 protected :thumbup1:it was £588 for the Audi and that was group 20

When i came to insure the Audi Mr Flux wanted over £1200  by using moneysupermarket Mr Flux had to match the offer so saving me well over £600 :thumbup1:
I used Tesco for the ST came best of all, Mr Flux wanted £700 and using Tesco i got £40 back :thumbup1: well the wife did

Well, my renewal was £450 with my existing insurer (increase of £70- I did claim for a windscreen last year), but as said I've found another insurer that can offer me the same level of cover for £405.

I'm convinced its my postcode that's the problem.

OK prices for my car, 100% power increase over standard vehicle, all other mods declared:

Aflux - £886
Tiger.co.uk - £670 (nice web site)
http://www.emodifiedcarinsurance.co.uk - £830
Swinton - £1908
Go Compare Modified - £680
Performance Direct -£1220
John Lewis - won't quote me..................
Lifesure - won't quote.

And the winner is SKY £571 an increase of £74 from last year, suppose insurance tax has gone up, and I did have a small claim:o

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"
