Facia & amp bypass lead
Facia & amp bypass lead
There's definitely an autoleads amp bypass cable, it's in their catalogue.
DJ Wozza Shaz I don't think Autoleads ever made a "bypass lead", there is an Autoleads lead suitable for the "S" model, but not for the "SE" or "Sport" to my current knowledge.
If it is one the shop has made up themselves I would guess you are ok, but like 2tongues said, it seems suspiciously cheap.
I wish I had seen this before mate, as I have an unused facia kit (donated by Bobby), and I also think a bypass lead somewhere too. Will have to check later today.
What Head unit are you putting in ? You know I'm a phone call away mate, but can't do anything this weekend as I'm away from Sat until Tuesday afternoon.

DJ Wozza Mate I got bad news, just looking around I found this info...
LINKY
What is even worse, Bassjunkies are selling the same (unsuitable) lead for £45.00 !!!!
I do hope the info on this lead is wrong mate, but from the first link it would deffo seem to be for the non-ampified "S" model.
Shaz I will go look now to see if I have a spare bypass lead, fingers crossed.

DJ Wozza Might be the correct one looking at the link from Bandit ? Only way to be sure is try it mate. I have found the bypass lead given to me by Bobby, so if not I have one here.
Seems there are some alternate harness adaptors with RCA/Phono inputs(?) available too according to that catalogue ?

I have found that often the adaptor leads on eBay have inconsistent part numbers versus their description, e.g. the part number for a non-bypass lead but the picture/description of a bypass lead ? Or some other combination of the above ?
Best to get it in writing from the seller that it definitely is a bypass lead suitable for your car, then if it turns out to be wrong they'll have to swap it.
