Just a quick one are Lexus still selling the clear door marker covers for the IS? and what is it you need to ask for is it E300 door marker covers?

You mean the ones inside the door ? I don't think those ES300 ones quite fit properly, but I think those are the right ones (i.e. probably better than trying to make your own), yes.

i phoned about these and they are for the es300 but they dont fit completly flush but will fit

they cost £6.09 + vat each

and the part number is correct

Yeah I think they sit in a lot more recessed, don't they ? But there could be a way to fix this if you wanted, i.e. glue something on the edges to stop it going so far back.

so are the is ones no longer available hense the need to fit the es300 ones, i only really want to do the mod if i can have them fitting properly, not into bodging it.

It wouldn't be bodged mate they'd just sit a little further back in the door card than the ones in it do now but still have the same effect.

It wouldn't be bodged mate they'd just sit a little further back in the door card than the ones in it do now but still have the same effect.
