Good work on the dizzy cap, i thought it was fiddly in my bay, ive got tons more room than you! Shame it hasnt solved the idleing issues. Have you tried the idle valve on the throttle body. Mine idled beautifully after i gave it a good clean out
Mayo in the catch can is normal. The hot oil vapour traveks out there and cools. This will always create condensation, so when they mix you will get the mayo. I try to make a point of removing all oil breather pipes once a year and giving them a good clean through.

ICV is clean as a whistle. TPS was a bit wrong (idle switch wasn't engaging) but it's still not quite right.
There's something else weird going on now too, get a strange rattling when engaging or disengaging the clutch. Release bearing I wonder...
Also wore my 2 rear tyres through to the canvas while I was in France lol
However it did France and back without breaking so whatever it is it can't be that terminal right?

Hmmm got some strange goings on there then. The rattle certainly does sound like release bearing. Thats got to be a tough job. Is it engine out, or can the box be split leaving the engine in?

ECU coolant temp sensor was replaced about 6000 miles ago, cause it was fooked. Next stop ignition coil. Got no money left after the holiday though so it will have to wait until July.
Oh yeah I've fecked my front bumper again too
Box can come out without dropping engine, it's been done twice in the last 18 months...

Well if that doesn't fix it then I guess the spark system is OK, so I'll rip the injectors out, get them cleaned & balanced, replace the fuel filter. If that's all OK then I'll rip all the intake tract off (manifold back) and clean it all out. Still need to get the mechanical timing checked out as well.

Before photo, you can't really see the state of the old nuts here. They were chrome once but the chrome had all flaked off, leaving rust. They'd also got quite soft and were misshapen, so it was difficult to get a socket onto them.

Shiny new JDM RAYS nuts:

Flaky chrome, rusty, non-locking wheel nuts replaced with nice gunmetal lockers, that I actually have the right size socket for (I think this is what did for the old nuts).
